Computer Networking

A key element of modern tech is computer networking, which makes  easier for data to flow quickly between systems and devices. Networking involves the connecting of computers & other devices to allow them to exchange information, communicate, and function together. The digital world comprises this network of interconnected devices  for everything from simple file transfers to complex international communication networks.

Creating a dependable and efficient communication channel between devices is the primary objective of computer networking, allowing the exchange of resources and data. Numerous networking technologies, protocols, and standards are required to accomplish this. Both wired and wireless connections are  networking technologies, each with unique benefits and drawbacks. For example, Ethernet and Wi-Fi are prevalent technologies used for local area networking.

Data transmission in computer networks depends on protocols such as TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol). They make sure that information is appropriately divided into packets, sent over the network, and put back together at the other end. The World Wide Web functions better because to additional protocols as DNS (Domain Name System) and HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol).
